On March 16, 2013, record producer Questlove announced that JT was planning to release a follow-up record to The 20/20 Experience. '10 songs now.10 songs later = 20 vision.' Album co-producer Jerome Harmon revealed that the follow-up will consist of outtakes from the original album, as well as new material from upcoming studio sessions.
'Before we came to the 10 tracks that he wanted and the two bonus tracks, we had over 30, 40 tracks. So I think he's going to go in, and we're going to take some of the stuff that we've already done, and of course create more music at the same time.' Check out the teaser trailer below which shows Timberlake holding up a series of white placards outside a club, beginning with the release dates of the singles 'Suit & Tie' and 'Mirrors' and then the release date of the album.
The last two placards feature what is presumably a track or album title 'Take Back The Night' followed by a blurred-out sign. Timberlake then disappears up the steps to the club while a short snippet of a track – again, presumably 'Take Back The Night' – plays in the background. Update: New video added, which includes the full track 'Take Back the Night'. Full track available on iTunes now. Download The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2) No download links are allowed! For me the first half is about new love, the honeymoon, when you’re just getting into a relationship. And when you get to the second part the relationship is established and things are going on.” At least we know they didn’t just throw songs on the two albums. There’s a certain way JT wanted everyone to hear the two albums and this is the reason why the songs on the second album are mostly explicit, when there were no explicit songs on Part 1.
Even “Blue Ocean Floor” on was about dying WITH the one you love. I never noticed the positive outlook the first part took on a relationship. The songs on Part 2 address the problems a relationship can have, no wonder the songs are darker.
Since the Part 1 of 20/20 Experience was put on iTunes 8 days before release (a Monday, a full week and a day before you could buy it), I expect it to be “leaked” tonight as well, being streamed on iTunes. Last album was around 6:30pm EST or so and I would expect similar tonight, hopefully it happens. The first part was amazing and I am not sure who I like more, Timbaland or Justin, but they each have their moments (no, Timbalands moments are not usually when you talks).
Part 2 so far is crazy good, the more you listen the better each of the tracks get! The track listing has got my attention and I do like his creativity, instead of just being “Baby, I want you” or whatever, so I really do enjoy new JT music. (Hopefully, HA!).

Justin Timberlake 20/20 Experience Download
Do you love Justin Timberlake's new album but wish some of the fat were trimmed? Do you find yourself saying 'I just don't give a shit about this outro'? Well now you can enjoy The 20/20 Experience: No Bullshit version. All the same great songs and productions of the original, just with a little less of the unnecessary crap. In this 52 minute version, I strive to keep the original 'feel' of the album, where the songs still contain a lot of their extended groove sections.
What is cut are some of the ancillary sections, some intros, and some outros, just to get the album down to a more manageable size. If you still want shorter, check out my other two versions! Disclaimer: I love the 20/20 Experience at its original length credits.
